_{Ever since she could talk, Akili was looking out for her older, much mellower brother. Despite being only as tall as his knee, the little Shinx would follow him everywhere, yelling at the top of her little lungs at anybody that gave him trouble. As they both got older, she encouraged him to go into the type of profession she idolized—something strong and manly and honourable. Like a warrior. Kainip indulged her of course, and started training for just such a job. However one day when some older kids were giving her trouble, her brother got in a fight with them. Although he did win, he came away with quite a few injuries, and Akili finally gave in and admitted that maybe he wasn’t cut out for being a warrior or guard.}

_{So, while her brother became a cook, she took on an apprentice ship as a hunter, liking the idea of spending the day out in the woods, stalking prey, and ultimately helping her brother out.}
